Its origins are still very uncertain, some theories believe that it comes from ancient Greece, and its name derives from the distortion of the word Hellenico in Eglienico, during the domination of the Aragonese in the south. Various wines are produced with Aglianico which lend themselves to aging in wood, both in large barrels and in barriques, which make these wines particularly valuable.

The areas with the greatest vocation are the Sannio Beneventano, the Campi Flegrei and the Caserta area. The name Falanghina seems to derive from the large poles, called “falanges”, which have been used since ancient times to support the growth of the vine.

Biancolella is an authentic expression of white wine typical of Ischia. An indigenous vine that expresses itself with character in the glass, thanks also to the cellar work that aims at pure natural development during the winemaking phases.
The harvest of the grapes for this wine takes place in mid-September at an advanced stage of ripeness. The grapes are harvested by hand as the vines are located on hills where it is impossible to get tractors into. and carefully chosen, they are placed in 18 kg plastic crates and taken immediately to the cellar.
Fiano di Avellino
Fiano has ancient origins that date back to Roman times, a period in which this vine was known as Vitis Apiana due to the sweetness of its grapes which were so appreciated by bees. Fiano di Avellino is, among the white wines of Campania, the one that best manages to communicate the richness of its environment of origin and the care of the winemakers who produce it. One of the distinctive traits of Fiano di Avellino is its remarkable aging capacity. Over time, this wine develops greater complexity and nuances that make it even more intriguing.
Greco di Tufo
Greco di Tufo is an ancient and prestigious vine that was brought to the province of Avellino by the Pelagians, from Thessaly in Greece, in the first century BC. It was defined by the Romans as “Aminea Gemina”, due to the characteristic shape of the bunch divided into two twin parts. Greco has a high propensity for aging which gives it a particularly refined taste, thanks also to the type of soil where it grows (clayey-limestone with south-east exposure).
